Cycling

Set off straight from Trianglhof: cycle through the vineyards and along the valley cycle paths to explore Bolzano and its surroundings on two wheels.

Whether it’s an easy ride, a family outing or a longer tour, cycle paths lead from Bolzano in different directions across South Tyrol. And when your legs get tired, you can simply take the train for part of the journey back.

The Dolomites

The Dolomites within easy reach. From Trianglhof, some of South Tyrol’s most beautiful mountain landscapes are just a short drive away. The Catinaccio, Latemar, Alpe di Siusi, Tires and the Sciliar invite you to explore panoramic trails, mountain hikes and relaxed summer days in the Dolomites.

And afterwards? Back to Bolzano, shoes off and straight to the pool.

Jogging along the Talvera meadows

Run with the mountains in view. The spacious Talvera meadows stretch along the river all the way to Bolzano’s historic old town and are one of the city’s loveliest green spaces.

Perfect for a morning run or a leisurely walk – surrounded by greenery, yet right in the heart of Bolzano.

Laufen in Südtirol - Talferwiesen

Discover Bolzano from its greener side. The Oswald and Guntschna promenades wind through Mediterranean vegetation above the city, offering beautiful views over Bolzano and the surrounding mountains along the way.

Perfect for a leisurely walk when you feel like being outdoors without heading all the way into the Dolomites.

Strolling through Bolzano

Stroll beneath Bolzano’s historic arcades, visit Ötzi at the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, browse the small shops or round off the day with a pizza in the old town.

Refreshing aperitivo

Whether it’s an Aperol Spritz, a glass of South Tyrolean white wine or a fruity cocktail, an aperitivo in the open air is simply part of a summer evening in Bolzano.

Around Waltherplatz in particular, it’s the perfect way to sit back, watch the city go by and enjoy the Italian side of South Tyrol.
