Harvest festival
This autumnal festival is the South Tyrolean way of giving thanks for the harvest. The festival is held in October, both in the cathedral and outside on Waltherplatz square, with a large farmers’ market.
The Three Kings
After Christmas, carol singers dressed up as the Three Kings go from house to house. In many cases, South Tyrolean farmsteads are blessed with holy water or smudged with incense and herbs at Epiphany.
